I had a friend who was a drug addict. According to him, his drug dependency was caused by peer pressure and family problems and that resorted him to take drugs to forget about his problems. He even had suicidal attempts. At one point in time, he himself realized that he wanted to get out of this habit and addiction. So what he did is he had himself undergo rehabilitation and treatment. At first he was admitted in a substance abuse rehab and he underwent a drug treatment program to help him recover from this addiction. After a few months of rehabilitation he was just then told to undergo residential drug treatment since he was a bit getting better. In a few months time, he got well and he was able to pick himself up. Good for him, cause he is really a good guy, he might have just undergone too much troubles and problems which made it hard for him to carry. A year ago, he got married and he started living a happy life. He always keeps himself busy and he always exercises to sweat himself out and according to him this takes out drug residues currently present in his system.

Drug Addiction has been one of the problems in our society. This is not a problem in the lower class but also in the upper and middle classes. Even some actors, actresses and high profile personalities have undergone these problems. There are several reasons why people get into drugs. Some of which are low self-esteem, problems, depression, peer pressure, and curiosity. Most drug dependents take drugs for pleasure and some use it to relieve tension or even boredom. I actually have a few friends who became drug dependents. It even came to a point wherein they where brought to treatment center in our area. These drug rehab centers treat patients in a few days or even months depending on the condition of the patient or the degree of their addiction. There are also some who undergo alcohol rehab program to treat alcohol patients since there are some cases when drug addiction also leads to alcoholism.

I’ve been planning to switch internet service providers. I’ve been fed up with the slow internet connection and all those down times. I know that there’s nothing such as a 100 percent efficient internet connection but at least I need a cheap broadband that at least meets 99 percent up time! This is mainly what causes me to go berserk and to get depressed especially whenever I am not able to meet deadlines due to crappy internet connections!
About a few years ago I was into dial up but recently I switched to a wireless broadband connection. Unfortunately when it rains, our broadband connection always gets disrupted and I can’t do my work. So now I’ll be trying BT Total Broadband. I heard that this is a good broadband connection and it has a maximum download speed which is up to 8mb. They also got good Technical Support services which can help you 24/7. And what’s really good about them is that you’ll enjoy great savings not only on your broadband subscription bust as well as on food, drink, travel, leisure and lifestyle treats.

In Alabama, there is actually this association of therapeutic schools and programs (NATSAP) which serves as a national resource for programs and professionals assisting young people beleaguered by emotional and behavioral difficulties. Included in this program is three springs paint rock valley. They help adolescents cope up with daily problems by guiding them and leading them to positive thinking and redirection.
People commonly tell young people that the teenage years are the “best years of your life.” These stages of life are highlighted by students energetically involved in activities such as dancing and different sporting events. Another highlight is when teens start dating and they are getting attached and attracted with the opposite sex. But there are some cases wherein life for some young people is a painful battle filled with conflicting demands from parent, teachers, employers, friends and even themselves. Growing up is sometimes a negotiating path between independence and reliance on others. It creates stress and it can come up with a serious depression for young people. Parents should be aware of these risk factors to help adolescents to be sensitive when stress and depression are imminent.
