masters in nursing
January 5, 2008 nursing No CommentsMy sister is a graduate of nursing in a university near area. Good thing is that she already passed the stateboard. She’s now training on a small hospital in Sacramento. She still got no salary although she’s given allowance in exchange of her training. She’s quite getting a lil’ bit depressed since she’s quite short in money and she still has to take another job just to be able to sustain the cost of living. A few days back, i talked to her and she told me she wanted to take up masters in nursing to be able to become more competetive in her field.
I told her that would be a good idea but as of now she still needs the fundamentals and some training before she even takes the second step. I advised her to take one step at a time. Taking up masters in nursing would definitely prepare her and impart in her the techniques and procedures for promoting health, providing proper care for individuals or groups needing medical attention. These programs are offered at many accredited colleges in the US and this is actually a wonderful way to increase your knowledge in the medical field you’ve chosen.
