diseases from animals
No Comments
A while ago I was watching a video that was sent to me in youtube. It’s actually a kid from the Philippines who was bitten by stray dog and infected with rabies. He has his hands and feet tied into the bed. You will actually see his mouth producing large quantities of saliva and tears coupled with an inability to speak or swallow. The kid also panicked when he was offered water to drink. This is actually one of the effects of rabies where they cannot quench their thirst. Rabies has actually already been called a forgotten disease. Yet, it claims thousands of lives worldwide per year with most deaths occurring in Africa and Asia. Every dog owner should actually be responsible of their pets. Rabies can be prevented by vaccination, both in humans and other animals. Dogs should be given shots of anti rabies and they should also be trained or even kept in dog kennels to prevent them from causing harm to other people.
